Southeast Community College is an approved American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center for AHA CPR and First Aid courses.
The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an education course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for such a course, except a portion of the fees needed for AHA course material, do not represent income to the Association.
CPR Basic Life Support (for Health Care Professionals)
Sign up for this CPR BLS training, and learn all that you need to know in performing CPR and using an AED and responding to foreign-body airway obstruction.

CPR - HeartCode® Basic Life Support Online + Skills Session (for Health Care Professionals)
Need your professional certification in AHA CPR Basic Life Support and want a convenient way of getting it? This online class is for you! You will only need to meet in person once for the Skills Session after you complete the online portion of the class. You will receive the online AHA access key and email approximately one week prior to your Skills Session class.
- When registering, include your email address.
- Once you’ve completed the online portion, you will print your AHA Online Course Completion Certificate. For admission into the Skills Session, you must have this certificate with you.

Heartsaver® CPR AED (Community)
Have you always wanted to know how to perform CPR and use an AED in an emergency situation? Take this training and walk away with CPR and AED skills needed to assist adults, children and infants.strong> This class meets day care CPR requirement.

If you have already purchased the online course (HLTH‑3253) or completed the training elsewhere, you just need to bring in your completion certificate to your skills session.
The certificate must be current as of six months since the written portion was completed.

AHA’s ACLS course. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where providers are located and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace.

You will need to bring your current ACLS provider card and the certificate of completion for the ACLS Instructor Essentials Online course.
You are responsible for purchasing the online key through American Heart Association at: https://shopcpr.heart.org/acls-instuctor-essentials-online. At the completion of the course, it will your responsibility to contact your training center for issuance of ACLS Instructor card.
