This free career test will help you learn what kind of work environments and occupations suit you best.

Career Decision-Making
This site gives you access to free assessments aimed at helping you clarify why you may be having trouble making career decisions, as well as information on the career decision-making process.

Career OneStop
This website helps you identify your interests, explore careers, learn how to get work experience and find education options.

Careers Out There
This site contains videos of interviews with people in selected careers such as nursing, law, engineering, entrepreneurs and more!

Learn How to Become
This website allows you to search occupations by career field (education, engineering, medical, etc.)  It also allows you to search by special interest such as green careers, women and non-traditional careers, etc.

Education Planner
This site will ask you about your interests and abilities and then suggest career categories that may be the best fit for you.

Holland Code Career Test
This is a short quiz that asks you to rate how much you enjoy doing various activities. You will then get a score for six different interest areas and be able to search for careers based on those interest areas.

My Next Move
This website allows you to search occupations by key words or industry.  It also allows you to answer questions about the type of things you enjoy doing and then suggests occupations that match your interests.

Occupational Outlook Handbook
This is an extensive resource published by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and includes detailed information on various occupations such as work environment, educational preparation, job outlook and more!

O*NET Online
This website allows you to explore a vast multitude of occupations to gain information on job tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities required, wage information, job openings and more!

Informational Interviews
Informational Interviews are a way to have a career conversation with someone working in a job in which you may be interested.  It's a great way to explore an occupation by getting first-hand information!  The University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Career Services website has some great information and advice for conducting informational interviews.

Explore Health Careers
This website allows you to explore health occupations and accredited schools and programs, as well as funding opportunities.  You can also sign up to receive a free monthly newsletter.

Skills Sought by Employers
This webpage includes results from the National Association of Colleges and Employers annual survey and illustrates the skills that employers look for in new college graduates that they hire.

Focus 2 Career is an assessment tool geared towards currently enrolled students that are interested in exploring different career paths or possibly changing their Program of Study. To get started on Focus 2 Career:
